Q: ARE THE SPHYNX HYPOALLERGENIC? WILL I HAVE ALLERGIES TO THE SPHYNX BREED? Q: HOW MUCH DOES A SPHYNX COST? A: Most breeders charge the same price, we charge $1500 Can. for pet quality. If a Breeder wants more money for a kitten due to eye color, RUN AWAY. Breeders that charge extra for blue eyes are taking advantage of the buyer, YOU. Health is more important then eye color. ALL GOOD BREEDERS, ALTER THEIR KITTENS BEFORE PLACING. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS! If you are told that they cannot find a vet to do this, tell them to drive out of the neighborhood and find one. If they are not willing to do that, then they are not willing to put the kitten first. A breeder that sells you a kitten under $900, or under 10 weeks of age, more then likely has health problems in the kittens, more then likely the kitten never saw a vet , no vet cost, and the breeder will more then likely not replace the kitten if anything goes wrong. Pet quality is a kitten a breeder can't use in their breeding program for different reasons.
Q: IS THERE ANY SPECIAL MAINTENANCE WITH A SPHYNX? Q: DO YOU SHIP? HOW MUCH? A: We do ship to the US and Canada. We use heated live cargo when needed but we do prefer that you pick up your kitten. We use Northwest Live Animal Cargo out of Detroit Michigan. In Canada we use Air Canada. We charge an approximated, $260. Covering the flight, airline approved carrier, bedding and dishes.
Q: HOW ARE THEIR PERSONALITIES? DO THEY GET
ALONG WITH CHILDREN AND OTHER PETS? Q: DO I HAVE TO KEEP MY HOUSE
WARM? DO THEY HAVE TO WEAR A SWEATER? Q: HOW DO I KNOW I HAVE A GOOD ETHICAL BREEDER? A: You need to do your homework. See their home, if you can't make it to the home, ask for pictures of the home. Ask for a breeders name and number that has been to their home! Do they tell you all the good with the bad, can you call them anytime and do they answer their phone or always call you back after you called? Do they talk positive about other breeders or spend more time talking about bad breeders? Do they give you theirs vets name an number for recommendations? Do they have useful information on their site or just brags or heaven forbid negative statements on people or other catteries. Buying a kitten or cat should be a cozy fun feeling, with practical expectations of getting an animal. If you still have questions, email or call me, 1-800-645-6853 |
